Start your day right with these healthy, no-added-sugar Banana Oat & Nut Waffles.
Ingredients:
- 2 Bananas
- 1 cup Walnuts (or other preferred nut)
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 cup wholemeal Flour
- 1 cup Milk (can substitute Almond/Coconut Milk)
Directions:
- Mix wholemeal Flour, Oats, Cinnamon and Baking Powder in a large mixing bowl
- Place Bananas, Milk and Eggs in a large blender and blend mixture until smooth
- Add smoothie mixture to dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon until batter-like consistency
- Stir the Nuts into the waffle batter
- Prepare your waffle iron and cook waffle as per your waffle iron instructions
Note: Pancakes can be made on a griddle or on a stove-top saucepan
