Sugar-Free Banana Oat & Nut Waffles


Start your day right with these healthy, no-added-sugar Banana Oat & Nut Waffles.


  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 cup Walnuts (or other preferred nut)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 cup wholemeal Flour
  • 1 cup Milk (can substitute Almond/Coconut Milk)


  1. Mix wholemeal Flour, Oats, Cinnamon and Baking Powder in a large mixing bowl
  2. Place Bananas, Milk and Eggs in a large blender and blend mixture until smooth
  3. Add smoothie mixture to dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon until batter-like consistency
  4. Stir the Nuts into the waffle batter
  5. Prepare your waffle iron and cook waffle as per your waffle iron instructions

Note: Pancakes can be made on a griddle or on a stove-top saucepan
