Cranberry Sauce is a Thanksgiving staple, but certain products and recipes are high in sugar and calories. Why not try a healthy alternative this year? This sugar-free cranberry sauce is easy to make and diabetic-friendly.
12 oz bag of fresh cranberries
1 cup erythritol sweetener
3/4 cup water
1 tsp orange zest
1 tsp vanilla extract
Combine the cranberries, water, erythritol, and orange zest in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a gentle simmer.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the cranberries pop and a sauce forms.
